Andy's Figments is an ongoing art and social-history project that began at Andy Warhol's gravesite in 2009. At its heart are the thousands of people who have visited Andy's grave and left notes, photographs, objects, stories, memories, questions, and pieces of themselves behind.

The project documents the many ways people continue to connect with Andy Warhol, not just as a famous artist, but as someone who inspires people to talk about their own lives, identities, struggles, creativity, humor, and hopes.

The archive lives across daily tombstone photos, notes written to Andy, everyday images, short films, and project data collected over seventeen years, all working toward one goal: preserving these voices through the Andy's Figments living archive, photographs, films, social media, this website, and ultimately the 2028 book celebrating the 100th anniversary of Andy Warhol's birth.
