In 2028, Andy Warhol would have turned 100.
For nineteen years, people have come to his grave and left something behind, a note, a photo, a can of soup, a piece of themselves. Andy's Figments has been there to document every bit of it.
Now we're building toward something bigger.
A new book. After eighteen years of documenting what people leave behind at Andy Warhol's grave, Madelyn Roehrig is writing the next chapter. Drawn from nearly two decades of the Living Archive, thousands of handwritten notes, photographs, objects, and stories from the people who never stopped showing up. A new book is coming, in time for Andy's 100th birthday.
A celebration. Andy's 100th birthday deserves more than a quiet visit to the gravesite. We're planning something worthy of everyone who's been part of this story.
It's not just a story about Andy.
It's a story about what happened after Andy, and about all the people who have kept the conversation going.
We're all part of the story.
The archive is still growing, he conversations continue, and in 2028, we celebrate Andy at 100, together.
